The first in Orbituary series, in loving memory of Pak Kala who died early this year. He is on the far right, holding my youngest sister.
This is a photo taken circa 1978. Pak Kala and family was our neighbour. More than just neighbour, Pak Kala and Mami (his wife) are more like our foster parents, whom we often ran to when our parents scolded us whenever we were naughty!
We shall miss him dearly.
